Why can not women be like men? Day by day it is increasing equality between men and women in society, we have the same rights, the same opportunities.  Althought men and women share the same planet, they come from different world because they are extremelly differents in many aspects.


Men and women are different physiologically. When guys are in adolescence their shoulders widen, facial hair appears and their voice is deeper. Male skin has more sebaceous and sweat glands that provoke a strong smell. While in girls their breasts and hips grow, and their pelvis widen. The feminine skin is more delicate and receptive to touch.


Another difference is in education. Guys suffer more punishments than girls because if a boy acts wrong, the mother tends to punish him. About school, boys have worse grades and they suffer more disorders related to writing and language according to pedagogues. In contrast to guys, if a girl acts wrong, the mother explain her the mistake because a girl is  more fragile emotionally . In school girls are who excel in better behavior and grades.


The last difference is sexually. Men appreciate more the physical atractive and chastity due to there is an area of the hypothalamus ( organ of the brain that determines sexual behavior) that has the double size in men. Unlike men, women have a sexual interest related to affection that they feel for someone because women look for stability.

Abortion should be illegal around the world. According to OMS (World Health Organization), abortion is the expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus that weighs 500 grams or less. Nowadays, abortion is practiced with impunity in some societies; as a result, it has been legalized in many countries to combat high rates of illegal abortions, with consequent complications, and in recognition of the right of women. Nevertheless, it is necessary to think deeply because we are acting wrong; we are damaging ourselves. As well as there are many reasons to practice an abortion, there are many reason to be against.  

The main reason to be against it is because life is a gift given by God; we should reject this gift from him. It was approved the decriminalization of abortion on April 24th, 2007 in Mexico City which establishes the right of women to interrupt pregnancy before twelve weeks of gestation by family, economic, and social issues. Even though human beings have already decriminalized it, nobody and nothing can authorize the killing of a human being, no matter whether it is a fetus or an embryon, a child or an adult because God is who has the absolute power over our person, our life, and our death. Life does not belong to man; as a result, none has to meddle in the laws of God.

Another reason why abortion should not be legalized it is because you are attacking against life. According to humans´ laws, all of us have the right to live, and if you attack someone´s life, you will be punished. Since the moment of conception there is already a living, so abortion is a crime because you are banning the life of an innocent who can not even defend himself/herself.  Whether anyone denied us the right to live; we should not deny that right a human being who is just beginning to live. Nobody has the right to terminate the life of a being, nobody wants to be killed; nobody wants to be a murderer.  Therefore, we must stop thinking in our well-being and we must start respecting life.

Believers argue that is acceptable to have an abortion when woman is raped or is a victim of incest and becomes pregnant because nobody wants a baby that was made with violence and without love. However, there is no justification to abort; we do not  have  to kill an innocent when even there is not death penalty for the rapist. There are some couples that tried and tried to have babies and they never could. That kind of people are not going to argue about the origins of the child, they just want to have a family, so if someone does not want to take care about a baby she can give her in adoption. Do not deny life to a helpless being; moreover, let others know the good fortune of being parents.

In conclusion, I do not agree with abortion because it is inhuman to end the life of a being. We can not decide who lives or who does not; we are the owner of our body, but we are not the owner of someone else. God created a world big enough for all the lives that he wants that born; he will decide when to conclude our way in this world. Meanwhile, if you do not want to have a baby whatever the reason, you must give that baby in adoption and in this way you will not become a killer.

What has your best gift been being? Since we are children, we dream to have the best; it is so much the obsession that we not forget any detail. I was lucky because God gave me as a gift my best friend. I am grateful with my heaven  gift; I love each particle of her because she is full of magic.

Her stream line features are as beautiful as the sunset; her skin is autumnal: golden and brown. It is embellished with precious stones that shine in step with of the moon. Her hair is a delicate tempting chocolate waterfull that trickes her back that provoke admiration to anyone. Her eyes are like two sparkling amber diamonds; her soft pink cheeks are like a baby´s bottoms. Smooth and fragile lips as the petals of a flower, wet white teeth like the clouds. Her figure as a goddess and her hands are like the hands of an angel.

She is a reflection of the virgin; pure, tender, and sincere. She has a marvelous heart; her emotions are as sweet as honey. Have you ever been called illiterated? In the past, someone who knew how to write and read printed texts was considered as a literated person. Nonetheless, times have been changed; we are in electronic era where it has expanded the meaning of the word literacy to include the reading and writing not only of printed texts but of electronic texts. 

I was born to be an entire electronic illiterated. In my early years, I was not aware of the existence of technology because I do not have the necessity of it. The beginning of my relationship with technology was thanks for my father. He familiarized me to PC´s through educational games; as a result, I was able to use the mouse, the keyboard; moreover, to turn on and turn off a computer. During my junior high school, I was taught how to use word processors, and search engines to deliver academic assignments. As the time passed, I became more capable to use them for social communication, school requirements, and entertainment purposes. Electronic technology allows me to do daily tasks in an easier way in less time; on the other hand, it makes me to be more addicted and dependent to technology.

Day by day, I am improving my knowledge concerning electronic technology. I am more related with it because of the strong impact that has had on mankind. Electronic tools have helped me to improve my L1 /L2 in grammar and vocabulary; furthermore, they have also allowed me to meet foreign people as well as to enhance my communicative skills. I am able to handle web browsers, social networks, chat rooms, e-mails, and academic softwares (Microsoft Windows Office Programs). Nevertheless, I am weak in the use of the new trends in programs and tech tools. As I said before, word processors are useful to do daily tasks; on the other hand, social networks and discussion boards are of great importance to communicate with anybody anywhere and to exchange information in not time. 

Electronic tools are involved in my future as a person as well as English teacher. I expect to get better in the matter to do not have problems in daily live because using technologies is a requirement to survive nowadays. I hope I will use electronic technology as virtual libraries to do not waste time going to traditional libraries to search information. Can you describe yourself in five words? That is impossible!...Five words are not enough to have a general concept of someone. There are many aspects to concider such as personal information, past activities, your present, and your future plans to somebody can know who you are.

The main characteristic that forms the essence of a person is the personal information. I am Cinthya Zulaid Mata Herrera; my family call me tity and my friends chikiz. I was born on August 28th, 1989 in Aguascalientes, Mexico. About my looks, I am middle size, brown, and slender; I have wavy brown hair and brown eyes too. Talking about personality, I consider myself honest, friendly, responsable, hard-working, and shy. The thing that I love more than anything is my family. My family is composed by my mom, my dad, two sisters more younger than me, a Chihuahueño dog, and very soon a nephew or niece.

Past activities is another thing that makes me be who I am. When I think in my past activities, come to my mind studies and hobbies. When I finished secundary, I decided to study high-school in the Normal del Estado but my father suggested me to study in a CBTIS because I could graduate with a technical career. Nevertheless, I studied the high-school at the Mendel Institute. After I finished my high-school, I spent a year to study paramedic at UTA during a semester, and the rest of the year I took a English course at International Languages Institute. At that time, I decided to become an English teacher because I liked the way my teacher taught me the language.  At that moment of my life, I took a theatre course in the Cultural House, and Hawaiian dance in a private school located in downtown.

My job, my studies, and hobbies are the current aspects that describe my person. I have been working since March 10th, 2010 at UMF nº6 as medical assistant. I got this job by my mom, and I feel happy because it is my first job and I like it because I am close to people with diseases, and I help them. I work from Monday to Friday from 1:30 to 8:00 pm. Concerning my studies; I am studying BA in ELT at the UAA from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Because of work and study, I feel so tired at the end of the day, so I take as hobbies going to a gym three times a week after work, and going to the movies because they are things that make me to be relaxed. Futhermore, I am taking a belly dance course on Saturdays.

Futures plans will make me to be the same person who I am. First of all, I want to finish my major successfully and to be a good English teacher. I want to study MA in Education and/or study to be a nurse. I just hope to work in an elementary school because I like to work with children, and change my job at the IMSS. Although I like to be medical assistant, I prefer to be a nurse because I will help people more; moreover, I will get more money. Also, I want to travel around the world before and after get married. Some of the places that I want to visit are Egypt and Hawaii because I like the culture and the landscape. Furthermore, I want to take a horse course because one of my objectives is to have a ranch, a house and a car. About get married, I hope to get married a good man and have children; I want to have a happy family.

I just hope to work in an elementary school because I like to work with children, and change my job at the IMSS. Although I like to be a medical assistant, I prefer being a nurse because I will help people more; moreover, I will get more money. Also, I want to travel around the world before and after marry. Some of the places that I would like to visit are Egypt and Hawaii because I like the culture and the landscape. Furthermore, I want to take a horse course because one of my objectives is to have a ranch, a house and a car. About getting married, I hope to marry a good man and have children; I want to have a happy family.

Can you describe yourself in five words? That is impossible! Five words are not enough to have a general concept about someone. There are many aspects to consider such as personal information, past activities, your present, and your future plans to somebody can know who you are.

The main characteristics that form the essence of a person are the name, nickname, place and date of birth, appearance, personality, and family. I am Cinthya Zulaid Mata Herrera, my family calls me "tity" and my friends "chikiz". I was born on August 28th, 1989 in Aguascalientes, Mexico. About my looks, I am middle height, brown skin, and slender; I have wavy brown hair and brown eyes too. Talking about personality, I consider myself honest, friendly, responsible, hard-working, and shy. What I love more than anything is my family. It is composed by my mom, my dad, two sisters younger than me, a Chihuahua dog, and very soon a nephew or niece.

Past activities and experiences tell much about me. When I think about my past activities, studies and hobbies come to my mind. When I finished secondary, I decided to study high-school in the Normal del Estado but my father suggested that I study in a CBTIS because I could graduate with a technical career. Nevertheless, I studied the high-school at the Mendel Institute. After I finished my high-school, I spent a year to study paramedic at UTA during a semester, and the rest of the year I took an English course at International Languages Institute. At that time, I decided to become an English teacher because I liked the way my teacher taught the classes, at that moment of my life, I took a theatre course in the Cultural House, and Hawaiian dance in a private school located downtown.

My job, my studies, and hobbies are the current aspects that describe my person. I have been working since March 10th, 2010 in a social security clinic as medical assistant. I got this job through my mom because she works there, and I feel happy because it is my first job and I like it because I am close to sick people, and I help them. I work from Monday to Friday from 1:30 to 8:00 pm. Concerning my studies; I am studying BA in ELT at the UAA from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Because of work and study, I feel so tired at the end of the day, so I take as hobbies going to a gym three times a week after work, and going to the movies because they are activities that make me relax. Furthermore, I am taking a belly dance course on Saturdays.
